Attorney Lauren E. Reinhold
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Ms. Reinhold graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1996 and has been practicing law in Kansas and Missouri since 1997. Prior to opening her office in 2005, Ms. Reinhold worked in government, public interest and private practice positions in a variety of fields. Her most recent experience working in a university setting led her to focus on immigration law and nonresident alien taxation. Ms. Reinhold has a love of travel and culture. She enjoys working with immigrants in her law practice, as such clients give her an opportunity to “travel” a bit without leaving her office. Ms. Reinhold speaks some Spanish and is continually practicing her Spanish skills.
Ms. Reinhold is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Kansas Bar, the Missouri Bar, the Douglas County Bar Association and the Kansas Women Attorneys Association. In 2006, she co-founded the Solo/Small Firm committee of the Douglas County Bar.
As a member of AILA, Ms. Reinhold engages in frequent study in Immigration Law issues. Additionally, she has obtained extensive training from American Immigration Lawyers Association (link) meetings and conferences. For nonresident alien taxation matters, Ms. Reinhold has benefited from trainings offered by Arctic International L.L.C. (link) and the Internal Revenue Service.
